My Spring Bar Cart!

I’m back…and I’ve moved!!! I’ve been super busy preparing and packing the past month but I’m so excited to be in my new place- I absolutely love it! In honor of my move, I wanted to share one of my favorite new items from my apartment…my bar cart! IMG_1375I’m so happy to finally have my own bar cart that I can decorate for all kinds of occasions. I like to think of this one as my “spring” inspired bar cart because of the bright, cheery garland, and the fresh flowers. See below for details on everything seen here!

I picked this square, triple tier bar cart because I moved into a small studio apartment, so there’s not a ton of room in my kitchen. This one has smaller surface area than a double tier bar cart which is just what I was looking for, and since it’s on wheels I can easily move it in or out of my way. I found this one at Joss and Main, linked here and priced pretty reasonably compared to other bar carts I’ve seen.

I tried to pick a theme for each of the tier. The top one is my cocktail inspired tier complete with a gold shaker, a cutting board for cutting fruit garnishes, a matching bottle opener, and seasonal cocktail napkins. I also used a gold pencil cup to hold my cute pink paper straws. I added a light up cinema sign (on sale now!) that allows me to easily switch up my messages to cater to the occasion.

I was inspired by the beautiful colors in this flower bouquet, so I added a matching tea towel. While roaming around HomeGoods I stumbled upon this fun tassel garland. I linked a similar one here. I’m planning on getting multiple colors for various events.

The second layer is my wine shelf. I bought these pink plastic wine glasses that I can take up to my rooftop to enjoy the Chicago sunset over the harbor. I included my rose gold Rabbit wine opener so I’m able to easily open up some vino after a long, hard day at work 🙂 I also included a decorative gold sculpted sphere.

The bottom shelf includes a bottle of Rose because this wouldn’t be “spring” bar cart without one! I added two of my Riedel Stemless Wine Glasses as well as some sleek marble coasters.

And for the final touch- I weaved a string of LED lights through the rails of the cart.

I’m so eager to keep adding to this piece and see how it evolves over time!
